Comau hosts 2026 APAC Supplier Conference in China, advancing a resilient and collaborative supply network

Comau successfully convened the 2026 APAC Supplier Conference in Shanghai themed Converging Forces, Voyaging Beyond. The event assembled Comau global and APAC senior management as well as over 150 representatives from key strategic suppliers, serving as a vital platform to align global and regional development priorities, review evolving industry dynamics, and reinforce collaboration covering strategy, operation, quality, engineering, procurement and sustainable supply chain development.

Jeff Yuan, Chief APAC Officer, opened the conference by outlining Comau’s strategic priorities amid increasing industrial complexity. He reaffirmed the company’s focus on strengthening local execution capabilities while maintaining global alignment to improve responsiveness and regional market adaptability.

Building on the established strategic framework, Marco Manavello, Chief Industrial Operations and After Sales Officer, outlined the company’s global industrial operations model. He emphasized the integration of centralized global resource coordination with localized execution capabilities—a strategic approach designed to enhance delivery consistency, boost operational efficiency, and drive scalable growth across all regions. Additionally, Marco shared Comau’s global strategic focus areas for the future, noting that these priorities will create new collaborative opportunities for the company and its suppliers.

In addition, in-depth sharing sessions were held covering multiple core business segments. Relevant department heads, including APAC Quality, Engineering and After Sales and Machining respectively unveiled the enterprise’s preventive quality management system, digital and AI-driven engineering development layout, as well as human-centric wearable exoskeleton innovative solutions, fully displaying Comau’s comprehensive strength and forward-looking deployment in quality upgrading, technological empowerment and workplace optimization.

Leonardo De Toma, Head of Purchasing, together with Sam Wang, Head of Purchasing APAC, outlined Comau’s global procurement strategy and regional priorities. Discussions focused on supply chain resilience, sustainability targets, and long-term capability development across the supplier base, with emphasis on transparency and shared value creation.

As part of the conference, Comau recognized selected suppliers for outstanding performance across sustainability, responsiveness, market development, project execution, and operational excellence, acknowledging their contribution to long-term industrial competitiveness.
