20 April 2026

Hannover, April 20, 2026

Comau is attending Hannover Messe 2026, the world’s premier trade fair for industrial transformation, taking place from April 20 to 24. The international show, with a strong emphasis on integrating Artificial Intelligence, sustainability, and resilient infrastructure, is the perfect platform for Comau to showcase its cutting-edge sustainable and digital manufacturing solutions.

At the Comau booth (Hall 26, Stand D70) customers and visitors can explore the company’s most innovative products and solutions. They can also see first-hand how Comau is driving the future of smart manufacturing through advanced automation and human-robot collaboration, particularly within the applications for Critical Infrastructure & Heavy Industry sectors, including unstructured environments.

This vision also extends to logistics automation, a strategic area for Comau that has been further strengthened by the acquisition of Automha, a company specialized in warehouse and intralogistics solutions—expanding Comau’s presence in the rapidly growing storage and logistics market.

At the tradeshow, Comau presents its innovative technologies and solutions for manufacturing to companies of all sizes at the trade show.

  • MATE-XT GO Exoskeleton: The newest version of the recently introduced wearable exoskeleton is entirely mechanical. This device is engineered to decrease shoulder muscle strain during tasks performed overhead by offering physical support for repetitive or static operations. Being lightweight and operating without batteries or motors, this exoskeleton can decrease physical exertion by as much as 50% during overhead and repetitive work, thus enhancing comfort, ergonomics, and continuous operation throughout the entire shift.
  • MR4WELD (Mobile Robot for Welding): This innovative outdoor automation solution, developed in collaboration with Fincantieri (a world-leading shipbuilder), enhances the quality, performance, and well-being associated with labor-intensive welding tasks. The user-friendly MR4Weld mobile robot significantly boosts productivity, and is capable of autonomously welding up to 170 meters of steel in one shift – a three-fold increase over manual processes.
  • SmartReach Comau : The cutting-edge SmartReach Comau machining center will be showcased for its capability to process large, lightweight structural components. Its modular, dynamic architecture ensures high flexibility, consistent rigidity, and precision, making it ideal for boosting productivity and scalability in automotive, aerospace, and energy sectors, as well as meeting the robustness and reliability needs of traditional heavy industry. The sustainability-oriented design also reduces energy consumption and environmental/safety risks.

“Attending Hannover Messe allows Comau to present our latest automation and robotics innovations to a global audience and customers, underscoring our commitment to Germany. Our local presence supports the growth of the German industrial sector by collaborating on major projects not only in automotive but also in key sectors like critical infrastructure and heavy industry, including unstructured environments.”
