Comau supports the Women&theCity festival: a concrete commitment to gender equality and inclusion.

Turin, October 24

Comau is participating in the third edition of the Women&theCity Festival, an event conceived and designed by the Torino Città per le Donne association, which aims to promote cultural change on gender equality through numerous initiatives.

During the festival, Stefania Ferrero, Chief Marketing Officer at Comau, took part in the round table discussion entitled “Leaving traces: Business, inclusion, and the courage to change perspective,” sharing her professional and personal experiences.

The discussion focused on female leadership and the transformative impact it can generate in all areas of society, promoting inclusivity and sustainability. Another key topic of discussion was inspiration, thanks to the sharing of personal and professional stories to motivate and create a virtuous circle of empowerment and awareness. The Women&theCity Festival is part of a broader initiative undertaken by Comau to promote equal opportunities. This commitment was formalized in June 2025 with the signing of the “Charter for Equal Opportunities and Equality in the Workplace” and the achievement of UNI/PDR 125:2022 certification for gender equality.

The company has also supported several other initiatives recently, including sponsorship of the Just the Woman I Am charity run which was accompanied by the organization of events to mark International Women’s Day. During these events various managers and academics were involved in debates on issues related to equality. Another noteworthy initiative is the series of meetings entitled “Con quali occhi” (Through whose eyes), dedicated to Comau employees to support local associations that deal with social issues, such as Bet she can, an organization that supports girls during pre-adolescence.

True leadership comes from the courage to change perspective, grow steadily, and create human connections. In an ever-changing global landscape, recognizing diversity continues to be crucial for stimulating creativity, a sense of belonging, and people’s well-being. Comau believes that a workplace that values differences is capable of addressing current and future challenges, promoting sustainable growth and a positive social impact. Comau’s participation in initiatives such as “Women&theCity” is a clear example of the company’s concrete commitment to putting these values into practice.
