Comau took part in the 2025 Yangtze River Delta Advanced Manufacturing and Embodied Intelligence Equipment Conference, which brought together more than 200 representatives from the government, academia, and industry under the theme “Smart Manufacturing in the Yangtze River Delta · Linking the Entire Ecosystem.”
During the event, Stefania Ferrero, Comau Chief Marketing & Solutions Portfolio Officer, delivered a keynote speech and joined a high-level roundtable discussion with leading enterprises and stakeholders.
In her remarks, Ferrero emphasized that the manufacturing industry is undergoing rapid transformation. Electrification, sustainability, and flexible production are redefining industrial priorities, while technologies such as AI are unlocking new opportunities to optimize efficiency and resilience. In tandem, the global economic and industrial scenario remains highly uncertain. Industry growth is equally strong: automation is projected to expand by more than 10% annually in the coming years, with China alone expected to account for over one-third of the global market, reaching RMB 250 billion by 2025*.
Building on its long-standing presence in China and global expertise in advanced automation, Comau is helping customers navigate this transformation with next-gen collaborative robotics, end-to-end manufacturing solutions, and AI-driven digital platforms. Ferrero emphasized that the company’s localization strategy enables it to align global standards with regional market needs, ensuring that its solutions deliver efficiency, flexibility, and sustainability.
During the roundtable, Ferrero shared Comau’s long-standing role in China, including solutions for e-drive assembly, automated engine production, and large-scale battery manufacturing systems. She also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to working with partners across the value chain to support innovation, accelerate the transformation of advanced manufacturing and drive sustainable growth.
