Giovanni Volpes
Chief Extended Europe Officer
Giovanni Volpes, Comau’s Chief Extended Europe, brings significant commercial and operational expertise to one of Comau’s most strategic and dynamic regions.
Having started his career within the former Fiat Group in 1998, Mr. Volpes has a profound knowledge of the automotive business in addition to a strong background in Engineering, Manufacturing, Project management and Quality.
He joined Comau in 2019 as Global Head of Quality and then assumed the role of Global Account Executive, where he managed key relationships with Stellantis, CNH Industrial, Iveco, Ferrari, and Marelli.
In 2024, Mr. Volpes was named Head of Sales for the EMEA region, where he led the development and execution of regional sales strategies. He subsequently accepted the challenge of coordinating global robotics sales operations at the end of 2024.
Mr. Volpes holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and Materials, from the University of Palermo, as well as a Master’s in Sales Management from the Sole24Ore Business School.
