Turin, October 9th 2019 - From October 9-11, the new e.DO Experience platform and Comau educational projects will be at the center of Didacta Italia 2019, the fair dedicated to the world of education and training held in Florence at Fortezza da Basso. Comau will participate with e.DO, the modular and multi-axis robot with integrated open-source intelligence, designed to make learning more engaging and fun. At Stand 148, Padiglione Spadolini, Comau will set up a real e.DO Learning Center where visitors can learn about the educational activities offered by the e.DO Experience training packages and discover the possibilities of using the small Comau robotic arm.
Comau will involve teachers and students in an innovative teaching experience through demos and 45 minute interactive lessons, during which - with the support of the company experts - it will be possible to experience a new way of teaching and learning thanks to e.DO. The labs proposed by Comau are open to teachers and their classes that are interested in learning about the advantages of studying STEM and curriculum subjects alongside a robot. e.DO Experience was developed to bring students closer - starting from primary school - to robotics, mathematics and coding, in a fun and innovative way. During the fair, the e.DO Learning Center is also open to principals and teachers who want to understand first-hand how it works and how it's possible to manage an educational laboratory with a robot.
In collaboration with Pearson Italia at the C&C booth (Stand 149, Padiglione Spadolini), visitors may receive information on the Comau Robotics License. The license includes 100 hours of training for students and teachers, alternating between school and work; it is recognized by the MIUR, which allows participants to obtain an internationally recognized certification of use and programming of industrial robots.
