Professional project management with PMP® certification

Duration: 6 days (divided into 2 modules)

Credits: 42 PDU’s (Professional Development Units) or contact hours

Goal: This course is designed to acquaint students with all the Project Management Institute (PMI)® processes, their inputs, tools, techniques, outputs, in compliance with the contents of “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) – Fifth Edition, Project Management Institute, Inc., 2013″ (the primary source of knowledge and information to get through the certification exam).

It also provides the student with additional knowledge not directly covered in the “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) – Fifth Edition, Project Management Institute, Inc., 2013″ but required for passing the PMP® exam (e.g., Human Resources, Quality Theories, Ethics and Professional Responsibility).

Objectives:

Each “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) – Fifth Edition, Project Management Institute, Inc., 2013” Knowledge Area is analyzed. Information targeted at passing the PMP® Exam is provided along with discussion.

The course is divided into 2 modules:

  • Module A (duration 3 days)
  • Module B (duration 3 days)
