L&#8217;elettrificazione \u00e8 un requisito importante per garantire un modello di produzione pi\u00f9 verde e sostenibile.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"funded-projects\"><div class=\"funded-project\">\n    <h3 class=\"funded-project-title\">ZELD-e: Saldatura zero difetti per la mobilit\u00e0 elettrica<\/h3>\n    <p class=\"funded-project-country-business\">\n        Paese\/Attivit\u00e0:\n        Worldwide\/Elettrificazione-Automazione    <\/p>\n    <div class=\"funded-project-body\">\n        <h4 class=\"funded-project-body-title\">Obiettivi principali:<\/h4>\n        \n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Battery packs are composed of multiple individual battery cells that are structurally held and electrically connected by numerous welded joints. This means that high electrical resistance, due to poor joint quality, can create high energy loss and heat generation, thus increasing the joint temperature, provoking potential safety issues, and reducing efficiency. Given the significant number of welded joints in electric battery packs, the fast and efficient assessment of each single joint is fundamental to reducing costs and increasing battery safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ZELD-e project aims to introduce a complete solution to monitor and control the laser welding processes for EV batteries. It consists of an inline, non-invasive testing and quality control&nbsp;system based on an infrared sensing setup that is enabled by artificial intelligence and computer vision algorithms. The camera is installed directly on the laser head, ensuring the ability to adapt to different battery configurations and typologies. Cella robotizzata guidata visivamente per processi di finitura<\/h3>\n    <p class=\"funded-project-country-business\">\n        Paese\/Attivit\u00e0:\n        Italia\/Elettrificazione-Automazione    <\/p>\n    <div class=\"funded-project-body\">\n        <h4 class=\"funded-project-body-title\">Obiettivi principali:<\/h4>\n        \n<p>L\u2019obiettivo principale di <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eitmanufacturing.eu\/news-media\/activities\/visually-guided-robotised-cell-for-finishing-processes\/\">VERIFy<\/a> \u00e8 quello di sviluppare un sistema di rilevamento automatizzato per il controllo di qualit\u00e0 e le attivit\u00e0 correttive nei processi di produzione che richiedono colata. \u00c8 dotato di una cella robotizzata autonoma che ispeziona le parti colate e ne rileva i possibili difetti estetici grazie all&#8217;innovativo Vision System. Successivamente, il sistema VERIFy pu\u00f2 classificare la parte difettosa come rottame o come da rifinire, dove un robot con forza retroattiva gestisce il processo di finitura nei punti in cui tali difetti sono stati identificati. Automatizzare un processo che viene tradizionalmente fatto manualmente porta ad una diagnosi pi\u00f9 accurata e minimizza la sbavatura delle apparecchiature. Il team di ricerca ha analizzato la fattibilit\u00e0 dell&#8217;automazione in 16 linee di assemblaggio e ha sviluppato tre prototipi per ottimizzare la produzione di biciclette personalizzate, che a differenza della produzione di massa segue standard e requisiti diversi.
