In line with the motto \u201cNext is Automated,\u201d the new technologies developed by Comau for key sectors of global industry played a leading role at Automatica 2025, the international trade fair dedicated to automation held in June in Berlin, Germany. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was demonstrated by the significant media attention Comau received worldwide with the publication of articles dedicated to the innovations presented at the fair\u2014such as the new MyCo family of collaborative robots, the MyMR range of autonomous mobile vehicles, and the patented N-WG modular welding gun\u2014along with insights into new market trends and future growth prospects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The German press made a significant contribution. In particular, in an interview with Industrie Anzeiger<\/strong><\/a>, Comau CEO Pietro Gorlier spoke about the importance of approaching new production sectors, the \u201cpotential offered by the development of advanced technologies for the production of electric batteries and solutions to increase industrial sustainability,\u201d explaining why automation is constantly growing and plays an increasingly strategic role in the competitiveness of companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Pietro Gorlier, as stated in Maschinen Markt<\/strong><\/a>, although Comau has devoted most of its history to automation for the automotive sector\u2014which remains a significant part of its business\u2014 \u201cthe company is pursuing a strategy of constant expansion into diversified sectors, driven by the growing shortage of industrial labor and the need for faster and more flexible processes within global supply chains,\u201d influenced by the increase in e-commerce sales and the need to reduce inventories in favor of faster and more timely production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The British magazine Engineering Update<\/strong><\/a> also published a lengthy interview with Comau CEO Pietro Gorlier, during which he discussed the growth in demand in the field of renewable energy, Comau’s offering in this area, and its strategy in the hydrogen market, where the company \u201cis developing a proprietary portfolio of solutions capable of automating all the main production phases of both electrolysers and fuel cells, as well as the technologies necessary for its large-scale adoption.\u201d This offering enables companies to increase production volumes while improving product quality and reducing processing costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the German magazine\u00a0 Automation Next<\/strong><\/a>, Nicole Clement, Chief Business Unit Leader – Advanced Automation Solutions at Comau, highlighted Comau’s commitment to redefining the intralogistics sector through intelligent mobile automation. Clement pointed out that \u201cAI-integrated solutions are also a valuable support in the management of industrial robot control, to meet demands for high production variability and rapid adaptability, particularly in material handling, logistics, or fuel cell production.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an interview with Italian magazine Tecnelab.it<\/strong><\/a>, Stefania Ferrero, Chief Marketing Officer at Comau, also clarified that the innovations presented by Comau at Automatica 2025 \u201creflect the new trends in robotization, which is increasingly moving away from closed production islands to enter unstructured environments in close contact with operators, offering solutions to connect machines and production lines with the warehouse through intralogistics.\u201d Comau’s goal is therefore to increasingly bring robotics out of large automotive groups and into other sectors, such as aerospace and shipbuilding, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Italian news site TheNextFactory.it<\/strong><\/a>not only presented the launch of Comau’s new products for 2025, but also highlighted the potential of the new TXP Teach Pendant. The new control for robotic arms has been described as intuitive and easy to use, allowing operators to program and control Comau robots without prior programming knowledge, resulting in significant time and cost savings for businesses and optimized operations even in the most challenging industrial environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the United States, the online magazine robotics247.com<\/strong><\/a> and in India, the website Techmezine.com<\/strong><\/a> have dedicated space to exploring the ease of use that distinguishes Comau’s advanced automation, thanks in part to an integrated solution that combines Siemens’ Simatic Robot Library with Comau’s Next Generation Programming Platform, which facilitates compatibility between Siemens PLCs and Comau robots. This solution helps companies reduce the complexity of implementing automation in their processes and eliminates the need for significant technological investments or the acquisition of new technical skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
