Comau reaffirmed its commitment to technological and digital innovation for the development of the global automotive industry<\/strong> by participating in the Automotive News Europe Congress, which took place June 11 and 12 at the National Automobile Museum in Turin. Two days of discussion and debate, among companies and industry experts, were led by the theme \u201cDriving the Future: AI-Powered Innovation, Global Trade & Tariff Dynamics, and EU Emission Regulation Challenges<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comau CEO Pietro Gorlier participated in the panel \u201cHow AI is Reshaping Retail, Manufacturing and Autonomous Driving\u201d exploring trends and challenges that are shaping the global automotive industry<\/strong>. In particular, Gorlier emphasized the strategic role of enabling technologies and Comau’s expertise in automation<\/strong> and within the automotive sector through the design of cutting-edge solutions for both traditional manufacturing and hybrid and electric vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cIn an economic context characterized by deep uncertainty, companies must be able to offer agile processes and technologies, capable of adapting quickly to operational changes and with reduced costs. To meet this challenge, Comau is committed to developing increasingly innovative technologies, integrated with AI. In particular, AI is playing a transformative role, thanks to the concrete benefits it can generate – eg. the reduction up to 50% of the time in coding and generation of documentation; the digital twin that allows to develop robot programmed trajectories virtually and download them to the physical robot in the customer plant. Another key factor is represented by the increase in adoption of automation also thanks to a combination of traditional automation and new technologies – such as collaborative and wearable robotics – that facilitate human-machine collaboration\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
