Simona Mariani is General Counsel of Comau, a role she has held since June 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms. Mariani has significant professional experience in the field of M&A, corporate law and labor law<\/strong>, collaborating with leading Italian and international law firms such as Allen & Overy and Hogan Lovells. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2007 Ms. Mariani moved to an in-house role and joined the corporate affairs department of EXOR, the public investment holding company controlled by the Agnelli Family, where she focused her activity in the area of corporate and commercial governance law and M&A<\/strong>. Within the company, she was assigned with increasing responsibilities and in 2012 she became Exor General Counsel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2017 she joined Eataly, the well-known upmarket Italian food chain, as Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs, advising the company on all legal and compliance matters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms. Mariani received her law degree from the University of Turin and her master’s degree in European law (LL.M.) from the College of Europe, in Bruges (Belgium). She is a qualified lawyer at the Italian Bar Association<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
