Comau to Highlight in.Grid and MATE at Integr8 2019

On November 5-6, Comau will showcase two of its latest innovative technologies at Integr8: The Industry 4.0 Conference in Detroit, MI – in.Grid and MATE.

At Comau's booth (#32), attendees will have the ability to interact with the IoT platform in.Grid. This networking platform combines digital and physical worlds through sensorization, data analysis and real-time monitoring of equipment, systems and the production line. By joining communications, data control and analytics within a single, easy-to-use platform, in.Grid helps the user leverage the power of Industry 4.0 in a cost-effective and highly efficient manner.

In addition to our booth, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the benefits of MATE (Muscular Aiding Tech Exoskeleton) in booth #44 and 45 sponsored by Comau's Robotics Distributor Kundinger, where it will be available to try on. The exoskeleton has been designed to improve work quality in an efficient and highly ergonomic manner by providing consistent and advanced movement assistance during prolonged overhead, as well as daily tasks. MATE is fully able to replicate any movement of the shoulder while adhering to the body like a "second skin". Comau Robotics & Automation Products Partner Manager Earl Robinson will give a presentation about the MATE exoskeleton during the show, in which he will discuss the importance of providing employees the ergonomic resources to improve work quality and efficiency, while reducing the risk of injury.

In conjunction with the show, Comau Head of Digital Platform Paolo Avagliano will be participating in a global business roundtable prior to the event. During the session, 40 delegates selected from companies around the globe will discuss how advanced manufacturing institutions are approaching the challenges that accompany implementing Industry 4.0 innovations and practices into their business. The results of this forum will later be published in a white paper.

Presented by Automation Alley, Michigan's Industry 4.0 knowledge center, this global assembly brings together over 1000 technology and manufacturing professionals and industry leaders to learn, inspire, and put their knowledge in to action as the Fourth Industrial Revolution continues to transform and advance the manufacturing sector.
