Discover the MATE-XT and MATE-XB wearable exoskeletons for muscular support of the upper and lower limbs at one or more upcoming events
Grugliasco (Turin), 20 September 2024
Comau will bring its wearable robotics portfolio to multiple industry events in September, allowing visitors to put its MATE-XT and MATE-XB upper and lower back wearable exoskeletons to the test. The roadshow begins in Bologna (Italy) with the CERSAIE Fair from September 23-27, 2024, followed by SEPEM in Toulouse (France) from September 24-26, and the Comau Open House for European integrators, held in Turin on the 25th of September. All three of which offer the perfect opportunity to see how Comau’s upper and lower-back wearable robotics help reduce biomechanical loads, improve ergonomics and lower worker fatigue. Designed for heavy industrial as well as general industry and agricultural settings, MATE-XT and MATE-XB also enhance workforce efficiency by supporting natural movement throughout the workday.
Comau’s MATE-XT upper body exoskeleton combines lightweight muscular support with advanced sensor and IoT capabilities, delivering near real-time digitized operating metrics and usage parameters to help enhance the wearer’s level of well-being, safety and ergonomics. Similarly, the new MATE-XB exoskeleton is designed to support the lumbosacral joint during bending, lifting and the handling of loads up to 25kg. Comfortable, highly breathable and able to withstand extreme conditions, outdoor elements and corrosive environments, the MATE-XT and MATE-XB exoskeletons further confirm Comau’s commitment to improving sustainable ergonomics through wearable robotics.
With advanced sensor and IoT capabilities, MATE-XT 4.0 features digitized operating metrics and usage parameters help monitor performance, enhance ergonomics and improve the wearer’s well-being
“Comau is powering automation for an increasingly broad and transversal target, with advanced solutions suitable for successful deployment in multiple industrial sectors, including shipyards, chemical, construction and agri-food, among others. With multiple use cases and customers around the world, our presence at these events is a direct response to the growing demand for wearable robotics and cutting-edge technologies that improve the way operators work and make production processes more sustainable and safer.”
Duilio Amico, Head of Comau Wearable Robotics
Join us at CERSAIE in Bologna (23-27 Sept.) in the Assoposa booth (Pavilion 32, Stand A34) where we will demonstrate how the MATE-XB lower back exoskeleton is being used within the Ceramics industry.
We’ll also be at SEPEM, held from September 24-26 at MEETT in Toulouse, France (Booth E36) to showcase Comau wearable robotics and its industrial automation solutions portfolio.
Finally, Comau is opening its doors to European Systems Integrators who wish to join us in Grugliasco (Turin, Italy) on September 25 for a special Open House Event, entitled “Competences and Innovation”. In addition to seeing the MATE portfolio, the event offers the opportunity for live demonstrations showcasing the latest technological innovations that are empowering efficient and sustainable production processes, across diversified industries.
