Comau joins the Robotics Industry Alliance of G60 Science & Technology Innovation Valley, in China

December 20 to 21 2018, the foundation meeting of the G60 Robotics Industry Alliance will be held in Wuhu, Anhui province in China. The meeting is hosted by the Joint Office of Ministerial Meetings for the G60 Science & Innovation Alley, and will be attended by many professionals, researchers and entrepreneurs. Comau, a global leader in the industrial automation field, also will attend this meeting as one of the principle Alliance members. Mr. Bie Chao, Marketing Director of Comau APAC, will be present to witness the establishment of the Alliance and deliver a speech.

The cities along the G60 Science & Innovation Alley belong to one of the most economically dynamic and urbanized areas in China, including Shanghai Songjiang district, Jiaxing, Hangzhou, Jinhua, Suzhou, Huzhou, Xuancheng, Wuhu and Hefei. The objective of the Alliance is to further improve the research and development ability, manufacturing competency and system integration of robotics companies within the G60 Alliance, and drive the sustainable development of the G60 robotics chain. This meeting will establish the authority agents and its future development plan and strategies. The foundation of this Alliance strengthens the exchange of new products, new technology and more among the robotics industry enterprises, as well as contributes to realizing resource sharing and common development.

As early as 1978, Comau produced its first robot. In the following four decades, because of its professionalism and innovative technologies, Comau has become a pioneer in the field of robot automation solutions, and developed a wide range of robots and automation products. For its continuous commitment to advancing this industry, Comau is honored as one of the primary Alliance members. This membership is an important opportunity for Comau to obtain greater achievements, and make a greater contribution to the sustainable development of the robotics and industrial automation industry.
